Pets and a clean home: it can be done!
After years and years of insistent pleading, backed by exemplary promises and demonstrations of an irreproachable sense of responsibility, your children have convinced you to adopt a darling pet. And now?
Your new puppy is on the way… so how can you keep the house clean?
Now that the moment of the puppy’s arrival to your home is approaching, you are struck by doubt: how can you reconcile the presence of the new family member with the hygiene and cleanliness of your home? Don’t let a fear of hair and bodily functions ruin this wonderful adventure. All it takes is a little organisation.
Use a corner of the house as their food space: opt for an area with easy-to-clean floors and perhaps use paper towels under the bowl. They will absorb any water that comes out of the bowl easily without falling apart, and it will be easier to clean up food residues..
Floor-safe clean paws
Try to get them used to doing their business outside the home right away and take the opportunity to enjoy a walk in the park. When you get back home, don’t forget to always dry and clean their paws. In fact, this part of the body is the main vehicle of dirt and bad smells. For the sake of the hygiene of your house and the health of your puppy, moisten a paper towel and gently rub. Then pat dry with a dry sheet. There is nothing safer than a disposable paper towel, which has high performance when it comes to absorbency and resistance.
Arm yourself with the right brush for your four-legged friend and pass it over them gently, always following the direction of hair growth. If possible, do it once a day and in the open air.
Did you like it? Then applause is appropriate!
