Cleaning Calendar
Raise your hand if you love cleaning!
We feel you. With everyone having less and less available time, the thought of spending the weekend cleaning your home is not an exciting prospect.
Organising house cleaning: some useful tricks
Planning, organising and, above all, dividing tasks can help.
A weekly and seasonal cleaning calendar is what you need to be organised and productive with household chores and have a clean, impeccable home.
Daily cleaning
It is recommended that you open the windows and ventilate the rooms every morning: fresh air is a real cure-all that prevents the formation of annoying moulds.
Every evening, all the clothes, toys and items scattered around the house should be tidied up.
It’s useful to always sweep after eating, so you immediately eliminate any traces of food or crumbs. Clean the dishes, put them in the dishwasher and remember to throw out the garbage. Particular attention should be paid to cleaning and sanitising the kitchen and bathroom: in addition to disinfecting the most delicate parts, it will help prevent the formation of limescale on taps and sinks.
Weekly cleaning
More demanding activities come on a weekly basis: changing sheets and towels, vacuuming, washing the floors. To remove dust from the surfaces of furniture and accessories, you can use an antistatic cleaner and paper towels, which are effective and hygienic.
Monthly cleaning
Once a month it’s time for the household appliances: clean the inside of the oven, washing machine, dishwasher and microwave. Dust the chandeliers and tidy up kitchen and bathroom cabinets and units. Make your mirrors and windows shine: there is nothing more effective for cleaning windows than a paper towel moistened with a suitable detergent. Paper towel sheets are soft and gentle on surfaces, but also strong. They don’t fall apart and they don’t leave lint. It is recommended to avoid cleaning the windows when they are in the direct sun, otherwise rings will form.
Seasonal cleaning
Finally, the change of season is the ideal time for: washing and sanitising curtains and carpets, and cleaning duvets, pillows and mattresses. You can take the opportunity to tidy up, sanitise and add a scent to wardrobes, and why not also give away the clothes you no longer use.
